L20 Doorsets are due to begin work at the Hounslow Civic Centre project in the next few months.

The development, on the site of Hounslow’s current civic centre, will see the creation of 919 homes –   with the first phase made up of 160 affordable properties.

After the completion of the new civic centre nearby, the council’s service will move and the rest of the homes built.

Homes will be a mix of studios, apartments and housing across 10 buildings.

L20 Doorsets will be manufacturing around 300 high-end timber doorsets for main contractor Bouygues UK and hope to begin work mid-March to April.
